What to Keep in a Period Pouch

September 18, 2026 · 4 min read

A period pouch is less about packing everything and more about keeping the few things you trust within reach. Tuck one into your purse, backpack, locker, desk, car, overnight bag, or suitcase so an unexpected start does not become a stressful search.

Start with your preferred protection

Pack the kind of protection you already feel comfortable using. That might be a folded pair of disposable period underwear, a clean pair of reusable period underwear, pads, or liners. Think about your typical flow and include enough to get you through the time before you can restock.

Add a few practical extras

A spare pair of regular underwear, a small disposal bag, and individually wrapped unscented wipes can make changes away from home easier. If you carry pain relief, keep it in its original labeled packaging and follow the directions provided.

Keep it personal

Your pouch can also hold the small comforts that make period days feel more manageable: a heat patch, lip balm, hair tie, or another personal item you reach for often. The best pouch is the one fitted to your own routine, not a universal checklist.

Refresh it once a month

After each cycle, replace anything you used and check that every item is clean, sealed, and ready. The Juno's Pearl Period Pouch is sold empty so you can fill it with the period-care products and personal essentials that work for you.
